Double Wow - Feedback
From Sue Caley:
Wow, double wow! We just got our copy of the magazine and the picture is not only beautiful but the article is too! It really captures the essence of swing dance and it's community through you guys. Thanks for being willing to share....
... I have a feeling Steve is going to be very busy fielding dances now. The girls will be lined up to dance with him after this article. ....Every woman wants to be "Ginger"! I understand the front cover photo now, it's perfect!

I have to agree with Sue here. I'm a guy, a lead, and even I was wishing I could dance with you, after reading the article. It's a really wonderful, wonderful piece. Usually long articles lose me when I have to click to the second page, but I was glued on this one to the last word and I kept hoping there'd be more! I wouldn't be surprised if 8 Week Wonders gets a massive influx of new people too.
Thank you for sharing the article with me, Steve. I learned several things about you that I had not known all these years -- possibly because I never asked. Anyway, it was a really well-written piece, and I found it touching. I'll admit chasing down a tear when I read your friend left. I'll pray for you and for her.
It was really good to read in print -- in a secular publication -- words about God's relevance and significance. I applaud your testimony, my friend, and I also applaud the writer.
Isn't it good to know the Author of Life in order to understand firsthand His love and provision, and to have a firm, substantial and certain knowledge that surpasses understanding that all things that happen to we children of God are for our good, ... because he loves us? We may not always see Jesus' perspective while here, but by our faith in His character as the reliable substitute for our own limited perspective, we have confidence -- even with lingering sadness -- that all things work together for good. As a wise man said: "Though he slay me, yet will I trust him."
Again thanks, Steve.

Lori,
I can’t put into words how deeply this story touched me. Steve is simply remarkable. The story reached the core of my soul. You know, Lori, I have three prominent emotions that mirror those expressed in your brother’s story. First, my faith and love for God, second my love for dance, and third my romantic adoration for the people we meet in life that open their hearts and minds to love us and share themselves with us for all we are.
These are special, precious people. Steve and F.G. are both these kind of people.
You know, one of these days I’d like to meet your mother. She should be so proud of her parenting to grow such wonderful children. I feel like I know two of them now.
Thanks for sharing!
